We must all be aware of the fact that we are not good in God's eyes by nature. Mankind's first basic instinct is self serving, beginning with that first greedy breath at our birth. It is only through the blood of Christ that we are cleansed from our sins and made acceptable to God. When we repent of our old self, we then can begin to grow in communion with God and with others in our community of believers. Only then can we begin to develop and recognize our need to serve God.

Jesus spoke to them saying, "For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake, and for the sake of the gospel, will save it. For what will it profit them to gain the whole world and forfeit their life? Indeed, what can they give in return for their life? Those who are ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of them the Son of Man will also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."

What About All Those Other Religions?

Are You Telling Me Only Christians Are Saved?

The Bible tells us that only by abiding in Christ can we guarantee our salvation, and only through Him, do we have the complete assurance of eternal life.

The rest of the people in the world will be judged by Christ the King at the close of the age. It is not for us to say what will happen to these other people, that is entirely up to Him. Personally, I choose to go with Jesus now.

Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me. "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him."

The Bible says to resist the devil and he will flee from you, so hold fast to your new found faith and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you daily, spend as much time in God's word as possible each day and pray frequently. Fortunately for all of us, God is stronger then Satan and He will protect you through your use of scripture, daily prayer and fellowship with God's people. Your frequent fellowship with Gods Church only serves to provide you with a greater support base. By the way, all the rest of us are are not perfect and still trying to get it right also, so give us some latitude, and we can grow in love and faith together. Above All Remember;
